| March 3 | Deadline for individuals to register as delegates to their County Convention with their local County Election office. (State Statute says March 1 but March 1 is a Saturday.) |
| May 6 | Deadline for County Chairmen to certify, with the respective election commissioner or clerk, the date, time, and location of the county convention. |
| May 27 | Anyone wishing to be a National Convention Delegate or Alternate must file a Notice of Intent with State Party Headquarters postmarked no later than May 27. Individuals may also file in person until 5:00 p.m. CST on May 27. (This is in accordance with the Nebraska Republican Party Constitution Article VII, Section 3d.) |
| June 1-10 | Each county holds its own Convention. Individuals who have registered with their County Election office by the March 3 deadline are eligible to be elected as a Delegate or Alternate to the State Convention. |
| June 20 | Immediately after each County Convention, the County Chairs must send Delegate/Alternate registration to the State Party Headquarters. These forms must be received by June 20. (received, not postmarked) |
| July 7 | Anyone wishing to be a National Convention Delegate or Alternate must file a Notice of Commitment with State Headquarters postmarked by no later than July 7. (This is in accordance with the Nebraska Republican Party Constitution Article VII. Section 3e.) |
| July 12 | State Convention. Individuals who were official delegates at their individual County Convention, and were elected to be delegates to the State Convention, and filed both Notices of Intent and Commitment by the proper deadlines are eligible to be elected as Delegates or Alternates to the National Convention. |
