The Nebraska Republican Party would like to congratulate our Republican candidates on their well-run races. We are privileged to have a Republican ticket in November that will reflect the breadth of experience and vision found within our party.

 

For months we have anticipated having a U.S. Senate candidate that Nebraskans can rally behind; Mike Johanns is undoubtedly that candidate.

 

In the coming months, the NEGOP will show the unquestionable contrast between Mike Johanns and Democrat opponent.  Nebraskans are fortunate to have a candidate with Secretary Johanns’ experience and leadership running for the office of U.S. Senate.

 

We, also, are pleased that our incumbent Congressmen, Lee Terry, Jeff Fortenberry and Adrian Smith, had strong showings in the Primary. Their impressive records of working for Nebraskans will be to our party’s strong advantage in the General Election.
